Reduce Bumpsteer!
Is your 1990 to 1997 Miata lowered? Have you ever gone over a mid-corner bump and felt the steering wheel get pulled the other direction? You've experienced bump steer! This is caused by a geometry problem in the steering that gets worse as the car gets lower.
5X Racing steering rack spacers raise the steering rack by a half inch and dramatically reduce bumpsteer. By raising the steering rack you are able to correct the geometry of the steering rack in a lowered Miata. Reducing bumpsteer not only makes for a more predictable car, it can also reduce driver fatigue in early models without power steering!
Sean @ GWR's Notes:
These are a must have item for any lowered 1990-1997 Mazda Miata. R
educing the bumpsteer made my car much easier to drive and bumpy autocross lots are no longer a gym session for my forearms! Without a doubt the 5x Racing steering rack spacers are one of the best bang for buck mods I've done.
