The Parlor is closed for renovation. Hopefully the renovation will be complete by the end of July. Property will keep Westmorelanders posted on the progress of the renovation.

Sign Up for Coffee Hour!
 Coffee Hour is a time to welcome guests and to strengthen relationships within our church community. This ministry is vital to the life, spirit, and growth of our church. Beverages (coffee, tea, water, juice/lemonade) and tableware are provided by Westmoreland. Food is a welcome addition and is provided by Coffee Hour Host(s). Please sign up to host coffee hour (once per year is recommended) with your family or pair-up with another member of the church.

Sandwich Making for Martha's Table

Invitation to Ramadan Fast-Breaking Meal
Thursday, June 30, 8:00 PM
 Westmorelanders are invited to join the Institute of Islamic & Turkish Studies and Ezher Bloom mosque for a meal to break the Ramadan fast at sun down. You are invited to arrive at the mosque at 8:00 pm for a tour of the mosque, a brief introduction to Islam, a chance to observe the evening prayer, a delicious meal, conversation with our Muslim hosts, and dessert with Turkish tea. Forum for Youth and Adults
Sunday, July 3, 10:45-11:30am, Social Hall
Join us for an open forum for youth and adults to talk about gun violence, racism, hate speech, etc.
Children are invited for activities on the playground during the forum.

Children's Collections for July
School Supplies and Backpacks for Marie Reed Community Center
Since 2004, Westmoreland has provided assistance to at-risk children thro  ugh a partnership with the Marie Reed Community Learning Center, a public elementary school in the District with 90% of children living below the poverty line. Over the years, our congregation has providing tutors, books, clothing, furniture, music education, and food. They are a Westmoreland Social Justice grant recipient. Examples of supplies needed:
- Backpacks
- Wide-ruled 1 subject notebooks
- #2 pencils
- Small scissors
- Rulers
- Box of crayons/colored pencils
- Pencil sharpeners
- Eraser
