Donor Spotlight
Lori Emry

For many years, Lori Emry only knew of Goodwill as the place to take her family's household donations. After her husband attended a Real Goodwill Tour in 2015, she realized that there was so much more to Goodwill beyond its retail operations. She was very impressed by the success stories of individuals served by Goodwill that were shared during the tour, including employment of persons with disabilities, individuals that had been incarcerated, and seniors seeking work.

Communications Empower, Inspire, and Engage the Team
A message from our President & CEO, Bruce Phipps

We recognize that Goodwill is a very large, complex organization. Most of our employees do not have email and some are working at locations where they are the only employee. Imagine the old game of telephone using strings and cans. Sometimes we felt our communications were not as effective as this childhood game. So last year we asked a group of our mangers to look at internal communications within Goodwill Industries of the Valleys.
