MABLETON IMPROVEMENT COALITION

NEWSLETTER

May 15, 2015

From the President...

Mableton Day is tomorrow, May 16th, from 8am to 4pm at the Mable House Complex, and MIC is proud to be a part of this great day in our community.  The MIC tent will be in the vendor area, so come by and say hello. It's a good time to renew your membership, join for the first time, and you can tell us about something with which you might want some help from MIC or just ask questions.

The weather forecast for tomorrow is pretty good! There could be a few sprinkles, but not enough to worry about. So, arrive early, stay to the end and help us celebrate our community!  Chairman Tim Lee will join us for the Salute to the Armed Forces at 10:30 am, and our District Commissioner Lisa Cupid will present the Community Spirit Awards at 3:15 pm.  Read more below about all the fun in store.

Also, since you have your calendars or Day-Timers out, please put down, that MIC will be hold its Public Meeting on the night of June 9th at the South Cobb Community Center on Lions Club Drive. I hope that we will see each one of you there!

As always, feel free to get in touch. I'm always ready to talk about Mableton!

Sincerely,

Joel Cope
