Summer Park Service
June 19 - September 6
During the summer months, we celebrate Holy Eucharist outside. If you have not experienced one of these services, you are in for a real treat. The 9:30AM service will be at the
Maple Street Park on Sheridan Road in Winnetka. The Park is one block south of the Church On The Hill, on the East side of Sheridan, where Maple St. intersects Sheridan Rd.

If the weather turns bad, the 9:30AM service will occur at the Church on the Hill 784 Sheridan Rd. Just look for our sandwich boards in front of the church and at the entrance to the park.

Planting Day @ Grace House
What a glorious day for planting! Heath Missner, Nadia Stefko, Charlotte McGee, Charlotte Robertson, Jenny Smith, Sherry Gormanous, Mary Jo LaViolette, Addy Hillerbrand, Lucy Kreisa and Carmen Wilcox along with all the residents of Grace House hoed, raked and planted flowers, herbs and vegetables. Thank you to the parishioners who made generous contributions that made this kingdom work possible!

Book Group is on summer hiatus, however we have already decided on our
first selection for the fall!
It is
Journey to the Common Good by Walter Brueggemann, who is often referred to as "the greatest living Protestant theologian." In this book, the author addresses such questions as: where is the church going? What is its role in contemporary society? What lessons can the church offer a world enmeshed in such turbulent times? Please plan to join us in the fall for what promises to be a fascinating read! Our first meeting will be Monday, Sept. 12.
