Our June registration is now closed. August registration is available for new students only. The deadline to apply is Monday, July 25 2016 by 12 noon. Please encourage your friends to click here to register for August auditions.

Now that you've finished your audition to the San Diego Youth Symphony and Conservatory's 2016-2017 season.  Here's what happens next:

  • On Friday, July 1 ensemble placements and financial aid notifications will be available.  Families will be notified via email. Please do not contact the office regarding your placement before you receive the email. If you decide not to accept the offer of placement in SDYS, please contact Conservatory Program Coordinator, Kyle Henning at [email protected] to let him know.  Placement decisions are final and cannot be changed.

  • On Monday, August 1 tuition is due in order for us to hold your placement in SDYS. The payment options will be outlined in the placement email. If you do not pay tuition by August 1, you will need to pay a $20 late fee in addition to tuition.  Please carefully read the appropriate 2016-2017 Musicians' Handbook before paying tuition and make sure you understand the attendance policy.  Tuition is non-refundable after September 1, 2016.

  • If you are placed in the Ovation Program and/or if you are assigned a leadership position in Ovation or Showcase, please turn in your Commitment Form.
