We can REALLY see the church
building areas taking shape now!
If you haven't had a chance to get by the property this week, I invite you to come on by! There have been a lot of changes in the last week! But best of all, we have found so many new friends in Christ! Not only are they helping us to physically build our building, but also in the ministry of loving our Church 213 folks! To sit with them and work along beside of them each week, we have seen God working! Testimonies have been shared as well as their own heartfelt stories of God redeeming each of them. Its just been good stuff.
We don't have large teams coming for the next 2 weeks, but we WILL have smaller teams of 10-15 on site so come by, help them out and love on them, too if you can. They deserve the same thanks that the large teams have been given!
Don't miss out on any of it. This is the kind of stuff that will be talked about for years to come...

Our June volunteer teams have all completed their work! This month, we have hosted 148 volunteer builders from Americus, Cochran, Forest Park and Douglasville. The latest crew, from First Baptist Church of Forest Park and Bethel Baptist in Americus, completed all of the framing of the room walls, began the stage area, the welcome center, the sound booth and also began the exterior (see picture to the right). This week, plumbing will continue to be put in by our volunteer plumbers from Savannah. We will also see grading begun at the front of the building.
The grading company has asked that all small children please stay under the tent area if you visit this week and also that all persons entering the building do so through one of the side hallway entries instead of the front entry. Their vision is limited while they are operating the large equipment so for safety sake, please honor their request.
