Summer 2016
What a fun evening...
A look back at our Paint Night
What a fun and creative night we had with 50 women of all ages, getting creative and some painting for the very first time. Fran Mattson was our instructor, and we had a choice of two crosses to choose from. The results were amazing. Special thanks to our nursery workers, Brenda and Abigail, for watching the children and to Judy Blythe who stepped up to help during the event.

Service Spotlight
Pam Hudsmith

The Women's Ministry at CUMC owes a big THANK YOU to Pam Hudsmith. Pam saw a need in our ministry and responded to God's call by starting the Women's Ministry Council. She and the other women of the council work closely with Laura Greenwell to support the ministry, develop new ideas and make plans for the future.

Over the years, Pam has been instrumental in bringing women closer to God by inviting them into her home for Bible studies and one-on-one mentoring. She and her husband Stueart teach the Coupled in Christ Sunday school class, and she is also interim nursery/preschool director. Her gift of hospitality and desire for women to be in the Word and close to God is infectious and inspiring.

Women's Ministry Mission
Bringing all women together in Christ for encouragement,
belonging, connection, service and spiritual growth

Women's Ministry Purpose
To encourage, empower, equip and encircle women of all ages.
We believe all women have been uniquely gifted by God,
and it is our desire for women to find a place to study
the Word of God and teach them to use these gifts to reach
their families, the church and the world with the love of Christ.
