Shalom  and hello everyone! I hope you are doing well.
Wow! What do we speak about first? There is so much going on at Ohav Sholom!
Last week we were privileged to hear from our special guest speaker from Israel, Natan Nestel, who enlightened us about insidious and nefarious anti Israel activities happening across the United States and right under our noses in Manhattan.
This past wednesday evening was our Annual Shul Dinner and it was a major success! Thank you all who attended and contributed to this most worthy cause.
Given that the dinner was in June, we are well aware of the many conflicts people had and some friends and supporters of Ohav Sholom were unable to attend this important shul function.
However, the dinner isn't officially over! It isn't too late to make a contribution and make a tangible difference to help Ohav Sholom continue to serve the Upper West Side and beyond.

If you haven't yet made YOUR contribution, please go online to osnyc.org and do the right thing! And tiskel l'mitzvos!

GUEST SPEAKER THIS SHABBOS!

I am pleased to inform you that my chaver, a dynamic young Rosh Yeshiva from Israel, Rav Boaz  More, will serve as our guest darshan this shabbos morning!

Rav Boaz Mori is the Rosh Yeshiva and founder of Yeshivat Lev HaTorah in Ramat Beit Shemesh guiding its over one hundred talmidim in its Shana Aleph and Bet programs, as well as the 'Lev Lachayal' program for Lone Soldiers and the recently launched Mechina and Sephardic programs.

Rav Boaz also founded the Ramat Shilo (Shechunat Yeshivat Lev HaTorah) neighborhood and is currently working on establishing a brand new community in the 'Mishkafayim' area of Ramat Beit Shemesh.

Before starting Lev HaTorah, he was taught at BMT, Har Etzion, Mevaseret Zion and Machon Gold. Rav Mori received Semicha from RIETS.

It is our distinct pleasure to welcome this inspirational Rabbi to Ohav Sholom this shabbos. Join me to hear this accomplished scholar's powerful and practical Torah message!

2016 ANNUAL DINNER A MAJOR SUCCESS!

Congratulations to our guests of honor, Dr. Jennifer and Mark Becker , and the entire Ohav Sholom membership upon a successful and brilliant Annual Dinner this past Wednesday night!

The room was packed, the company exhilarating and the food divine! According to my totally unscientific poll, this was one of the greatest Dinner's in Ohav Sholom history.

We thank all those who worked tirelessly to make this dinner a great success. A big yasher koach to our esteemed donors who contributed mightily to ensure the future of our beloved shul. Keep up the good work!

GET IN TOUCH WITH NATAN NESTEL AND FIGHT!

Last week's riveting guest speaker, Natan Nestel , of Israel, spoke on the topic: Exposing and Preventing the Hijacking of the Next Generation of American Jewry.

Many people asked to get in contact with him (he has since left for Israel.)

Feel free to reach Natan at [email protected] to learn how you too can join the fight against the poisoning and hijacking of Jewish American youth.
