2016 LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE TO BE HELD AUGUST 26-28, 2016

It's where our top students will be this summer!

Each year the Leadership Conference (formerly the Presidents' Conference) serves as a kick-off to a new academic year. It is a forum for leadership development and an opportunity for attendees to network, discuss event and fundraising ideas, and receive updates from Grand Chapter.

Our Sustaining Partners have the opportunity to participate in the conference at a Meet & Greet where they will  meet chapter leaders from our 70+ active chapters and applicant schools.  This is an excellent opportunity to promote your company to the top GIS students!

For questions about the Leadership Conference, please contact Grace Grant at [email protected].

GIS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR NOELLE CODISPOTI AT IICF WOMEN'S CONFERENCE

The IICF Women in Insurance Conference Series returned in 2016 to the one-day regional forums. The regional format has positioned the insurance industry at the forefront of the national conversation of gender and leadership. There were four regional forums with the intent of of providing easier access with conferences across the country. The regional forum format encourages participation of high-potential women who may be newer to the industryand presents the highest caliber of speakers. The proceeds benefit the IICF Community Grants Program and the Early Literacy Initiative.

The Northeast Regional Forum was hosted in New York on June 9, 2016 at the Pierre Hotel, and our Executive Director Noelle Codispoti participated as a keynote speaker.  Noelle noted that the Workforce of the Future is now, and encouraged participants to engage with millennials as they work to promote a healthy workplace environment for all generations to succeed.  She made the shocking announcement to start the address by sharing with the audience that she too was a millennial and proceeded to snap a selfie with the audience.

Congratulations, Noelle! It was yet another proud moment for GIS in the industry!
