Be a Part of Bringing Mental Health to Main Street this July
Mark your calendars
for the weekend of
July 22nd through 24th
for a variety of activities
to kickoff the Change Direction Campaign in our community.
Friday will offer an educational symposium and a lunchtime kickoff rally at Lock 3 (with food trucks!). The free symposium will offer CEU's for social workers and counselors. Registration information will be available soon.
The public is invited to the free lunchtime kickoff at Lock 3 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. The kickoff will feature guest speakers, food trucks, and mental health resources available in Summit County.
On Saturday, campaign volunteers will be at community events in Green, Cuyahoga Falls and Akron. Sunday's focus in the faith community will be on key messages about mental health and reaching out to anyone who needs help.

Eric Hutzell joined the ADM staff last month as the Research and Quality Improvement Coordinator. His responsibilities include planning, organizing, and developing research designs and to gather and evaluate statistical data related to the work of the ADM Board.
He has 14 years of project management, quality improvement, leadership, data collection, and program evaluation experience from professional military and public positions. Read more about Eric here.

Men's Health Month
Men's Health Month is designed as a time when men and those who love them renew their focus on their health.
Zach is one of several men who share their experiences as part of the Man Therapy website. He struggled with emotional pain after a divorce and shares what was helpful to him in moving forward.
Another helpful tool available to visitors to the mantherapy.org website is the
20 Point Head Inspection
that helps participants evaluate their strengths and opportunities for improvement.
