  • April 29 at 8 p.m., Koreshan State Historic Site, Estero: Enjoy "The Perfect Island of Doctor Teed," a play about the founder of the Koreshan Unity Community.
  • May 5 at 6:30 p.m., Brooksville City Hall: Learn about the dramatic changes in Florida since 1945, with historian Steve Noll.
  • May 18 at 6 p.m., Selby Public Library, Sarasota: Experience "Looking for Angola," tracing an early 19th-century maroon community on the Manatee River, with anthropologist Uzi Baram.
  • May 18 at 6 p.m., Institute for Human and Machine Cognition, Pensacola: Join photographer Mac Stone for a stunning visual journey through the Everglades.
