Educators, refresh yourself and recharge. March 31 is the deadline to apply for our summer 2016 workshops. We are featuring some new topics and partnerships with the University of Florida and Eckerd College. Find out more and apply.  
High school students: 
Choose a learning adventure
High school juniors and seniors can immerse themselves in weeklong seminars this summer on college campuses: Delve into the importance and future of water in the 21st century at Eckerd College and the University of Florida; examine St. Augustine, a city founded during the Renaissance, at Flagler College. All camps start June 12. Information.
Congratulations to our 
"Poetry Out Loud" champs
Jarod Atchley of West Port High School in Ocala won our recent Poetry Out Loud recitation competition and will represent Florida in the national championships in Washington, D.C. May 2-4. Runner-up was Tatiana Saleh of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts; and Jillian Miley of Spruce Creek High School was third. Our thanks to the University of South Florida for acting as the event host.
