Queen of Quilts 

Beth Chamberlain started sewing 4 ½ years ago, making quilts. She then went on to make pocket purses and aprons.  She uses recycled jeans by re-purposing them to create her beautiful denim quilts.

Bamford Concert a Highlight for Rose Mary

Rose Mary Alldred attended the Gord Bamford at the Memorial Centre this past May. Rose Mary was thrilled to have the opportunity to introduce herself to Gord and shake his hand!


Shane Stewart became a member of Activity Haven at the end of March, and since then, he has been participating in their Tuesday morning Exercise Class. This hour long class has the same exercise routine each week, which gives Shane the opportunity to learn and get familiar with the exercises.

United Way Celebrating 25 Years of Caring  

David Fell, Board Chair and Gwyneth James, 2016 Campaign Chair of United Way Peterborough & District unveiled a special anniversary logo today on the United Way front lawn on Stewart Street and announced the launch '75 Years of Caring,' a year-long celebration of the organization's 75th Anniversary.
