Top Time of the Day at the BMW Autocross!

Lots of testing this weekend at autocross with our new Roadstersport Longtube ND Header and Race Muffler. Not nearly enough tire on the car for 193HP, old baked out 205mm wide tires, and too much oversteer with current spring balance (8kg front/7kg rear), even big front sway. Bottom line was a ton of fun and we took home top time of the day in the timed runs with 100 cars entered.

We will not be selling the battery, they are available from dozens of places on eBay and Amazon. We will be selling just the aluminum mounting kit. This is for RACERS ONLY, we don't see much point for regular street customers, but for SCCA autocross customers we think this will prove the popular setup. Saves 23.4 pounds off the front of the ND!!!

NEW ND Application! Stock heights on our ND were 14.25 to 14.75. Lowered heights with these our Progress Technology springs is approximately 13.25 inches front, and generally a bit over 13.25+ inches rear (measured center of wheel up to fender lip). 



STOCK spring rates are 156 front all models, 80 rear for most models (Club model gets 100 rear).

Progress spring rates 185 Front, 115 rear and all spring kits are powder coated metallic gray.

Your results will vary depending on which shock you use and the age of the shocks, as shock pressure declines over time the car will settle lower.

Don't Miss Out - PCI Adjustable Seat Mounts 

Wondering how to mount that new race seat? Pro Car Innovations (PCI) Adjustable Seat Mounts takes the guessing game out of this install. Finding the correct seat brackets can be almost impossible where most end up with a self-fabricated mount. 

PCI has invested the research in order to create an ingeniously crafted safe design that is easily adjustable to accommodate multiple applications. The PCI Racing Spec Seat Mount has the largest range of adjustment and lowest possible seat fitment of any seat mount we have come across.


NA/NB PCI seat mounts include the set back side mounts seen above to accommodate the tallest drivers, if you find you need the seat moved farther up you can simply flip the side mounts to move the seat closer. NC PCI seat mounts feature the non-set back side mounts and are able to move the seat all the way back to the bulk head.


Sean's Application Notes: I always dreamed about an off the shelf seat mount for the Miata, but after so many disappointing products I had nearly given up. The PCI seat mount makes mounting your race seat a breeze and a legitimate bolt in process.. PCI has also made it very easy for those installing 5 and 6 point harnesses with integrated sub strap mounting points. 
Back in Stock! Replacement Hubs for Miata and MX5!

Don't be fooled by inexpensive hub replacements from your local parts store! Quality hubs are crucial to maximizing your fun at the track and keeping you out of the pits with a wrench in your hand. 

For the 1990-2005 Mazda Miata, Centric hubs have the same made in Japan, NTN bearings, as OEM Mazda hubs. Centric h ubs also ship with ABS rings pre-installed and are easily removed for non-ABS cars. Don't forget ARP extended wheel studs if you plan on running a spacer more than 3mm!

For our 2006-2015 Mazda MX-5 customers racing with WIDE sticky tires, upgrade your front MX5 hubs to these factory 2009+ RX8 hubs for improved safety and durability! These are much more robust than your factory MX5 hubs because they were designed for the heavier four door RX8, but they are plug and play. They bolt right up to the MX5 because your MX5 is a shortened RX8 platform. We use these on our track MX5 and so should you.

1990-2005 Mazda Miata ARP Extended Wheel Studs

Want to run a spacer larger than 3mm on the track? Need to replace your crusty wheel studs with 200,000 miles? Look no further than our ARP extended wheel studs. 

With a tensile strength of 190,000 psi, these heat-treated, cadmium-plated 8740 chrome moly wheel studs are a necessity for any car in competitive racing. They easily handle tremendous acceleration shock loads (shear) and lateral forces (elongation).


Running aftermarket replacement rear hub flanges? Dorman 930-550 hub flanges, a common aftermarket replacement, have a DIFFERENT knurl diameter wheel studs. Before ordering, verify the knurl diameter of the studs pre-installed in your aftermarket hubs. If you have OEM rear hub flanges from Mazda, do not order these!
