Food Products Day
Deadline to participate: July 4, 2016

Food Products Da y is back at the CNE and set to take over the Food Building on  Wednesday, August 24th  from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm .

CNE guests will 'play and win' or 'spin the wheel'  for a chance to win over $20,000 in small kitchen appliances, supermarket vouchers, along with prizes of up to $20.00 in Food Building "Food Bucks".

These "Food Bucks" ($10,000.00 in total) will be distributed in envelopes containing either $15.00 or $20.00 in "Food Bucks" which can be redeemed for free food and beverages at participating vendors booths within the Food Building.

Participating concessionaires will be reimbursed by the Food Building Exhibitor Association fifty cents for each "Food Buck" a guest spends at their booth.  Reimbursement cheques will be issued by the Association within 48 hours from receipt of each vendor ' s final total submission.  Further details to follow.

The "Food Bucks" program encourages CNE guests to purchase additional food from participating establishments.

Vendors  will not be required to give "actual change" for a purchase under the value of the Food Bucks submitted.  For example:   A guest purchases a slice of pizza and a beverage for $7.50 and gives the cashier $8.00 in "Food Bucks", the cashier will not be required to give .50 change.  Transaction details will be printed on the "Bucks".

Concessionaires participating in this "Food Bucks" promotion will be provided with professional signage indicating their involvement.  A list of participating Food Building Concessions will be printed on the back of each "Buck",  so it is critical that you return the attached form indicating your desire to participate or opt out of this promotion on or before  July 4, 2016.

They will facilitate the clearance of your goods through customs, prepare and file the necessary custom forms and arrange for payment of duties. There is a brokerage fee for this service.

Need to get your products across the border? Our Official Customs Broker - TWI Group - is available to assist. Contact Zaza Vili at zvili@twigroup.com or Pat D'Alessandro at pdalessandro@twigroup.com for all of your custom broker needs. Visit www.twigroup.com or call 905.812.1124 for more information.
