On Sunday, June 12, our dedicated core of volunteers was honored at a Volunteer Appreciation luncheon at the Arvada Cultural Center. We have an amazing group of people who give tirelessly of their time and talents. Some have been volunteering for as long as 31 years at Cat Care Society. Thank you all...we couldn't do what we do without you!
June Adopt-a-Cat Month has been great at Cat Care Society!
A number of wonderful cats have been adopted into their forever homes, and we have many more kitties in our community still looking for that special human bond. Kitten season started a little later this year, but there are a number of kittens in foster care who will soon be ready for adoption. Check with our adoption staff if you are looking for a little one. We also have many adult cats of all ages, and the specials on fees make adoption even easier!

Note: our standard adoption screening process applies to this promotion. Further, for cats age ten and older and cats with chronic medical problems we offer our Perpet-U-Care program, providing $250 of veterinary care services at the CCS Cat Clinic annually.

Tux is ready for her forever home! She is a sweet and gentle kitty. Tux enjoys spending time with her human friends. She is docile and would do best in a low stress home. Tux has a heart condition that requires medication, but don't let that deter you! Her condition is being successfully managed at the shelter and we feel she would do even better in a home. CAT CARE SOCIETY IS SEEKING ARTISTS FOR TAILS OF THE PAINTED CATS 2017!
CALL TO ENTRY
Cat Care Society is now seeking artists interested in the 6th Tails of the Painted Cats fundraiser. If you love animals, and would like to contribute your talent to help this amazing shelter, listen up:
* Time to request an application: NOW
* Deadline to submit designs: September 8, 2016
* Juror for the 2017 project is Cheryl St. John.
* Participating artists will be notified by September 17.
* Artists have three months to paint.
Cats are due back April 1, 2017.
* Stipend ($50.00) to help with paint.
* Artists receive one complimentary ticket to dinner/auction
gala at Pinehurst Country Club September 16, 2017.
* Painted Cats tour for thee months in the summer.
The annual Paws on the Green Charity Golf Tournament will be held Friday, September 23rd, 2016. Due to a number of circumstances we had to reschedule the event, so if you registered to play we hope you will do so again! The tournament is still being held at the Meadows Golf Course in Littleton.
