Expected High Temperatures This Weekend Bring Risk of Heat-Related Illnesses
|
Temperatures in many inland Orange County communities are expected to reach high temperatures near 100 degrees on Sunday, June 19, and most of inland Orange County is predicted to hit the 100 degree mark Monday, June 20, increasing the risk of heat related illnesses like heat exhaustion and heat stroke for those who are more sensitive to heat.

Summer Reading Events at the Villa Park Library

Read for the Win this summer at the Villa Park Library. This year, the library is offering the "Summer Library Challenge" between June 20 - August 1, 2016 where children, teens and adults can read and participate in fun activities! In addition, g
et digital badges for reading time and your summer activities such as going to a park, visiting the Library and much, much more! Click here for a list of events and dates!
The
Library also has a children's program every Thursday afternoon from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the Villa Park Community Room. Children can also
participate in the weekly game at the Service Desk any time the Library is open!
Please note that on Friday, July 1, the Villa Park Library service hours will change. The Library will be open Monday - Thursday, 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., closed Friday, open Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and closed on Sunday.

Villa Park Library to check out a great book, discover new online resources for the whole family, use a computer, or browse a magazine. Stay cool this summer with your local Library!

Save the date for the 4th of July "Stars On" Parade!
|
The Villa Park Community Services Foundation is putting on their annual 4th of July "Stars On" Parade on Monday, July 4, 2016! Line up starts at 8:30 a.m. in front of Villa Park High School and the parade starts at 9:00 a.m.
The parade will be lead by a unique fire engine through 1.5 miles of Villa Park's residential streets. Kids of all ages are encouraged to decorate a bike, trike, scooter, wagon, skateboard, stroller or classic car for this fun morning event!
