You are cordially invited to our monthly SCORE Breakfast meeting Tuesday, July 12th, 2016. Breakfast will be at 7:30 a.m. at Shelly's Homestyle Grill located at
566 Brush College Rd.
At 8:00 a.m. we will meet at National Foodworks Services located at 575 Brush College Rd. for a tour of their new facility. After the tour, we will conduct our monthly SCORE meeting at National Foodworks Services.
NFS is an Illinois registered company that builds on an incubator commercial kitchen project begun in upstate NY in the late 1990's.
It also reunites two principals who were involved in the development, financing and management of the
Hudson Valley Foodworks
in Poughkeepsie, NY. Jim Milano and Tony Caccomo bring more than 60 years of expertise in real estate development and commercial food processing to the Decatur facility.
NFS will bring together locally collegiate expertise in the culinary arts from the exemplary program at Richland Community College in Decatur, as well as entrepreneurship programs currently offered.
NFS will also offer a full range of FDA approved commercial food processing including baking, bottling, freezing and affiliated food processing.
