Program Description:
 
This program will teach caregivers of people with disabilities how to prevent and replace problem behaviors by using positive behavior supports.  The audience will learn:
  • How behavior analysts use natural consequences and rearrange settings to promote functional behavior
  • Simple techniques to use every day, such as visual supports, first-then technique, and providing meaningful choices
  • How to promote calm and pro-social behaviors
This program has been developed to help caregivers and their autistic family members improve their daily life together.  Audience members will have opportunities to create their own plans, discuss new ideas, share their personal experiences, and ask questions of the speaker. 
 
About Our Speaker:
 
Jeremy Flowers is a Licensed Behavior Specialist and consultant with eight years of experience in the developmental disabilities field. He specializes in positive behavior supports for people with autism and other developmental disabilities.   His mission is to deliver the highest quality of service by focusing on the client's goals and involving their natural supports to help them achieve those goals.
