Joining God in the Neighborhood

"JOINING GOD IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD" WORKSHOP

Saturday September 24, 2016, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., St. John's, West Hartford

What does all this talk about God’s mission really mean?

Join us Saturday, September 24 for a taste of what’s possible. Together, with folks from across ECCT, we’ll try on what it means to “step into our neighborhoods where we live and work” and make a real difference as followers of Jesus.

Over the next two years, six of our parishes will join like-minded people from the dioceses of East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and Maine, to practice and learn together what it means to be a follower of Jesus in the 21st century.

Prominent missiologists—Dwight Zscheile, Alan Roxburgh, and Craig Van Gelder—are working with us in this cross-diocesan missional experiment.

So come, taste, and see if you and your fellow parishioners might be interested in joining this grand experiment. We invite clergy and parishioners (ideally four or five of you) to join us for this day together.

SAVE-THE- DATE now and email Tim Hodapp to pre-register.

More registration details to follow.
