FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF MINNEAPOLIS
Third symposium, as part of an initiative started this year by the district bank to assess the current status and outlook for addressing the problems of TBTF banks,  will examine the cost-benefit analysis of increasing bank capital, as well as evaluate more broadly the status of ending TBTF. After collecting research, as well as input from thought leaders, the regional bank intends to release a plan by the close of 2016 to end TBTF.
