EatPlayGrow Teaches Children's Health
EatPlayGrow Teaches Healthy Living
On May 14th, Building Healthy Lifestyles in All Directions  held their EatPlayGrow family workshop at the NC Research Campus.

The Partnership's program combines the latest science and research to engage families and provide helpful tips around nutrition, physical activities and sleep patterns. Families in this program attend the monthly workshop for five months.

NC Pre-K & Head Start Applications
Apply for Pre-K and Head Start We are still accepting applications for NC Pre-K and Head Start.

Families who are interested in applying for Head Start or preschool for 3 and 4 year olds must first go to the PORCh online screening portal to determine eligibility.

Young Athletes Day
Young Athletes Day

The Special Olympics Cabarrus County will be holding a Young Athletes Day for Head Start on Tuesday, May 24th from 9am-12pm at Frank Liske Park.  Special Olympics Young Athletes is an inclusive early childhood sports program emphasizing training and participation through activities and play, rather than competition.
 
Head Start End of Year Celebration
End of Year Celebration for Head Start Families 

The Cabarrus Partnership is having the End of Year Celebration for the Cabarrus Partnership for Children Head Start families at All Saints Episcopal Church on May 31st from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.  All Saints Early Childhood Foundation and the Cabarrus Partnership for Children will be sponsoring a dinner for the families.
