This week we join the Isrealites in the desert where they focus on what they used to have in Egypt instead of on God. They longed to be back in Egypt where they had food and shelter, but seemed to have forgotten that they were slaves! They were so busy complaining about what they used to have they were missing out on what God was doing in their lives! Our bottom line this week: When you focus on what you used to have, you can miss what you have now. Our memory verse is: Philippians 4:12b "I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want." Help kids to know that even if they think things were better for them in the past, God is guiding their steps as they follow Him in to the future. Be content knowing that God is always faithful!

We have an immediate need for more volunteers in our special needs classes at 9:30am and 11:00am. We have lost 2 of our volunteers and we will need to replace them along with adding a few in order to continue offering a safe and loving environment for our special needs kiddos. Please consider helping out in this area!
Don't forget your Bible when you come to church and be sure to bring it to large group with you to practice looking up the story for the day.

Come on out and enjoy a fun night at Chick-fil-A and help support this amazing camp. It's Beach Night! We will sample frosted lemonade and the store will be decorated with beach balls and fun summer decorations. 10% of all sales will go toward our scholarship fund.
