2016 Link Summer STEM Exploration
For students in grades 1 - 6
 
It is the middle of May already and  Kopernik's Link Summer STEM Exploration Camps  will start soon.  Below is a brief description of each class and a link to more information.

Note these deadlines: Friday, May 20 is the deadline to apply for financial aid. See below for more info. After June 15, prices go up on all of our camps - so register now to save!  
 
Go to our  online registration page  for convenient online registration and payment. On that page, you also can view camp offerings on our calendar or search for camps by date or age/grade.
 
You may also register using paper.  Print and complete the appropriate form(s) below and mail, email, or fax as directed on the form.
 
Kopernik has received some donations to help defray the costs of our summer camps for students that need financial assistance. If you are interested in applying for financial aid, please complete the form below and mail it to us before May 20.   



Super Science Discovery (STEM, grades 1 & 2, July 11-15 or August 8-12)
Each day of this camp has a different theme, including Space Day and Flight Day.

Secrets of Code (Engineering, grades 2 & 3, July 18-22) Kopernik Secret Agents will discover the world of codes, old and new, including Morse code, computer code, Braille, and American Sign Language.  Secrets of Code Course Outline

Space & Stars (Astronomy, grades 3 & 4, July 25-29 or August 15-19) Explore our solar system and beyond.  Space Stars Course Outline

Robots on the Space Station (STEM, grades 4 & 5, August 15-19) Learn to build and program robots, as would be used on the International Space Station (ISS), and talk with an astronaut on the ISS using Ham Radio.  Robots on ISS Course Outline

BIOBLITZ! Get Outside, Explore Your World! (Life Science, grades 4 & 5, July 11-15) Find and identify species in the woods and creek around Kopernik.  BIOBLITZ Course Outline

Rocket Design (Engineering, grades 5 & 6, July 18-22) Learn about rocket design, build rockets and test them.  Rocket Course Outline
