- Registration is open from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. in the Ocean Ballroom today.
- Buses to Tech Center Tuesday depart Resorts at 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and depart the Tech Center at 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Bring your government-issued ID!

Now Entering the Drone Zone
Rowan University students' drone cage meets FAA's Aviation STEM Challenge head on.
A visit to Tech Center Tuesday isn't complete without stopping to admire the drone cage. Luckily, it's impossible to miss in the center of the atrium. The drone zone cage is the centerpiece of the event and a representation of the Tech Center's collaboration with government, academia, and industry.
The drone cage was on full display yesterday during the Tech Center's first-ever Aviation STEM Day with 114 registered students from 22 schools and universities. The drone zone cage was designed by Rowan University engineering students and built by the FAA.

The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center is the nation's premier air transportation system laboratory. The Technical Center's highly technical and diverse workforce conducts test and evaluation, verification and validation, and sustainment of the FAA's full spectrum of aviation systems, and develops scientific solutions to current and future air transportation safety challenges by conducting applied research and development. Technical Center engineers, scientists, mathematicians, and technical experts utilize a robust, one-of-a-kind, world class laboratory environment to identify integrated system solutions for the modernization and sustainment of the NAS, and for delivering NextGen operational capabilities.
