New ways to receive support from the IPRO ESRD Network of New York Data Support Team!

 

With the increase in the amount of data that must be submitted, as well as the systems through which the data are collected, the Network is pleased to be able to provide facilities with expanded support. We offer several ways for you to contact the Network Data Support Team. Please see below for information on how to access the new Network data portal and contact the Network.

 

1. New Network Data Knowledge Base and Customer Portal http://help.esrd.ipro.org

• This portal is a "one stop shop" for information on various systems and initiatives such as CROWNWeb, NHSN, the Quality Incentive Program (QIP), and more. 

• Browse resources that address frequently asked questions. If the information currently available through the portal doesn't address your needs, please register through the "Sign Up" feature. This will allow you to quickly and easily submit questions or requests for assistance from the Data Support Team directly through the website.
   

2. Updated Data Department Email Contact

• Effective immediately the ESRD Network Data Department can be reached at the following email address: [email protected]

 

 

*Please remember that you should NEVER include any patient-specific information such as name, date of birth, Social Security Number, Medicare Claim Number, etc. The only patient identifier that can safely be communicated is the Unique Patient Identifier (UPI) from CROWNWeb.*

FDA MedWatch:

• May 4, 2016 - FDA has approved a brand name change for the antidepressant Brintellix (vortioxetine) to decrease the risk of prescribing and dispensing errors resulting from name confusion with the blood-thinning medicine Brilinta (ticagrelor). The new brand name of the drug will be Trintellix, and it is expected to be available starting in June 2016. No other changes will be made to the label or packaging, and the medicine is exactly the same. For the full FDA Announcement, click here.
• May 4, 2016 - B. Braun Medical Inc. is recalling the Dialog+ Hemodialysis System due to cracks in conductivity sensors that may allow air to enter into the solution (dialysis fluid or dialysate) used to help filter waste and other excess fluids in the blood. The presence of air in dialysis fluid may lead to improper blood filtration, causing serious adverse health consequences, including death. • May 11, 2016 - FDA is warning that the antipsychotic medicine olanzapine can cause a rare but serious skin reaction that can progress to affect other parts of the body. FDA is adding a new warning to the drug labels for all olanzapine-containing products that describes this severe condition known as Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms (DRESS).
