Meet the Jung Society of Utah Members
Brian Higgins is a Transmedia Storyteller hailing from Northern Ireland. Incorporating film, stand up comedy, visual arts, and events, he creates community through creative communication. Watch Brian and TEDX here
He is the producer and creator of multiple national film festivals stemming from Salt Lake City, including The 48 Hour Film Project and the new Filmulate Festival coming to Salt Lake in November. Using aspects of film and creative expression, Brian is a mental health advocate through " Create Reel Change" www.createreelchange.org. Inspiring and motivating acceptance of mental health issues by making things better to help people.
"My main passion is incorporating semiotic communication in everyday life. Using images and symbols to help people discover new pathways to healing, wellness and transformation. If I can help people smile in every moment, then all those moments add up to a wonderful life. "
A brand spanking new Create Reel Change live showcase will be premiereing on May 26th at Even Stevens. This free monthly show will showcase and celebrate some of Utah's best creative talent. Featuring stand up comedy, music, community and chat, all based around inspiration, motivation and communication of creativing and mental wellness. "If you have ever been to one of my performances, you'll know to expect an eclectic mix of frivolity and fun, culminating in connections through creativity.
