Did we scare you? Well, that's only fitting, given that it's Friday the 13th. We're having plenty of adventures today with falling trees and failing cars. Hopefully your 13th has been a little less exciting.

This week, we focused on words and names. In our world, words are kind of a big deal. That being said, you want to make sure that you choose the right words and that you don't start ranting and raving. Certainly none of US do that. It turns out Mark Twain had some advice on this subject, and we share some of those tips on Monday.

On Wednesday, we shifted from words to names. We offered a bit of a modern-day Aesop's Fable about what can happen if you don't take the time to protect your company name, your product names, or your service names. Consider yourself warned!

Finally, we returned to words again today. You might have noticed, especially if you hang out on social media platforms, that sometimes words get overused to the point where they lose their meaning altogether. We have some recommended replacements for a few words that drive us bonkers.

That's it from here. Stay safe on this crazy Friday the 13th, and we'll see you next week... ... ... if not sooner!
