The informational meeting will acquaint the public with the project and provide attendees an opportunity to discuss project details. Display areas will depict the proposed improvements, and State Highway Administration (SHA) representatives  will be available to answer project-related questions.

Life and Health Insurance Town Hall Forum

Maryland Insurance Commissioner Al Redmer, Jr. along with Carolyn Quattrocki, Executive Director of the Maryland Health Benefit Exchange, will be conducting a town hall forum to solicit feedback on issues related to the state's life and health insurance sector.  Consumers, business owners, and regulated insurance entities are invited to participate.  
   
Topics being discussed include:
  • Implementation of the Affordable Care Act
  • Changes to employee benefit plans
  • Options with medical stop-loss insurance and
  • Experiences with the Maryland's Health Benefit Exchange

MD - 32 Planning Study Public Workshop

The Maryland Department of Transportation's State Highway Administration (SHA), invites interested persons to attend a Public Workshop for the MD 32 Planning Study (widening), located between I-70 in Howard County and MD 26 (Liberty Road) in Carroll County.
  
The workshop will provide an opportunity for study team members to hear your study-related comments, explain the planning process and share preliminary information. You may arrive any time during workshop hours and go through at your own pace.  There will be no formal presentation.
