The Co-op was originated in 1972 by a few people in the Westcott neighborhood. This energetic group of activists envisioned a cooperatively owned community of which the Co-op would be an integral part.  In May of 1977, our founders incorporated  as the Syracuse Real Food Cooperative, Inc.  We're celebrating our founders by giving  members a Founder's Day discount.
