THE FELLOWSHIP HAS A NEW WEBSITE !
Bruce Fihe, with suggestions from a steering committee, put together this new website for our Fellowship.

COPA Spring Assembly
Sunday, May 15th, 3-5:00 pm
St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 1475 La Salle Avenue, Seaside
We will hear stories and engage with local public officials and other leaders regarding several COPA projects including: * Restorative Justice, * Health Care for the undocumented, * Predatory Lending and *
Affordable Housing.
Come help us show the power of numbers at St. Francis Xavier.
Free bus transportation leaves from St. John's Episcopal Church, 125 Canterbury Dr. in Aptos (on the Bay side of Highway 1 and State Park Drive). It will leave promptly at 1:45 pm. Try to arrive at St. John's by 1:30.
If you drive,
try to arrive by 2:30 to park, sign in, pick up a headset for simultaneous interpretation, and find a seat with the rest of the UU's. Enjoy the mariachis. The event will start promptly at 3:00 and end promptly at 5:00. Call Smitty (831-737-3721}, Ernesto (

Fundraising Dinners
Fun fundraising Dinners/Events are fast approaching. We still have space available at the following events: An elegant English High Tea this Saturday, May 14th from 3 to 4:30 at Gail Swain's House-$20; Southwest (New Mexico) Dinner on May 28th at Lee and Lorraine's in Watsonville $30: All American Election Special at Mary Lou Lamb's in Felton-$30; JuneTober Fest June 26th. at Ginny Aragon's-$25. Four more tickets have been added to the South African Dinner at Jenni & Ian's on June 4th! There is still time to volunteer to host a dinner/event to help us make this year's budget goal! Save the date: May 27 TGIF/Yard Sale
We will have our 3rd annual DIY (do it yourself) yard sale. It will be held at the Fellowship in conjunction with a TGIF. So put the date on your calendars, and start saving up some of your treasures for the sale.
Invite Friends: a good way for new people to see our Fellowship (and bring their checkbooks for yard sale!)

Other Community Events of Interest
Saturday, May 14th. 24th Annual Letter Carrier Food Drive benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank. Just leave non-perishables by mailbox (bag or box helps) and letter carrier will collect! Suggested items are: canned soups, stews, beans, peanut butter, mac and cheese, tuna, etc. Please, no glass!
