Xenon Lamp Program
Special Sign-on Incentive & Loyalty Program!

We are so pleased to announce this new program opportunity with Philips Lighting. Philips is the supplier of xenon projection lamps to a number of CBG members currently as well as Regal and AMC for years. This program represents a perfect example of the kind of program that the membership should support through their participation: great manufacturer partner, immediate cost savings, program incentive to participate/try the product, loyalty program for committed members - Win, Win, Win!

Special Sign-on Incentive:
The CBG is pleased to offer a one-time "sign-on" incentive when placing your first  order with Philips. Our CinemaCon CBG Member Meeting focused on member participation, so in the spirit of that message we are putting our money where our mouth is. As an incentive for member participation in this new Xenon Lamp Program the CBG will provide the following account credits to your company's initial order in this program.
 - First order (under $3,000) = $250 account credit
 - First order ($3,000 or more) = $400 account credit
These account credits are one time only per company and will ONLY be extended to first-time orders submitted prior to August 1, 2016.

CBG/Philips Loyalty Program:
In addition to the CBG-provided sign-on incentive, Philips has established a Loyalty Program for the CBG. The loyalty details outlined below will provide additional cost savings resulting in even more meaningful cost savings for our members. Do the math, this will save you money!!

Here's what some of your CBG peers are saying about Philips?

David Parlier - Ruby Cinemas: "I have been using the Philips Xenon Lamps over the last three years and overall have been very pleased.  One of the better aspects of this lamp in comparison to a brand like OSRAM is light output. These lamps have a noticeable increase in light output at the screen. Every little bit helps when trying to get that extra light on my 3D shows. The light output at different power settings is very consistent and equaling the drop or raise being requested. Light output throughout the warranty life does drop some but not as noticeably as some of the other brands. So far, every lamp that I have had has reached the end of its warranty life and there has been no flickering or movement of the light on-screen. Overall Philips seems to be making a great xenon lamp and I endorse them."

Steve Schoaps - Strothers Cinema: "We have experienced no problems with our Philips bulbs in the past five years. We originally had a problem with the bulbs not making it to the warranty period end but that was resolved by Phillips. They replaced all bulbs with new bulbs and the new bulbs have performed through and past the warranty period. We have had no ruptures or explosions and the light output at all levels of power settings has been satisfactory or exceeded our expectations.  The overall quality has been excellent and I recommend Phillips to all members looking for a lamp manufacturer."

BEWARE: CBG Advocates in Your Midst

As we pursue improved member communication and program participation, we are happy to announce the CBG advocacy initiative. In order to further promote member participation within the CBG programs we have formed a small group of amazing advocates. These CBG promoters will be reaching out far and wide to encourage your participation in our programs in order that we may continue the current momentum within the program.

Their goal is to answer questions, listen to feedback, increase awareness, offer insight, and generally apply hard-sell tactics and severe peer pressure to any non-participating members. JUST KIDDING!

Please expect to hear from one of these fine folks from time to time and feel free to offer feedback on what kind of programs you participate in (or don't) and why you do or don't. Be thinking too, about suggested programs that you feel would be compelling to a majority of members. Our goal is to provide good programs that our members are compelled to participate in based on the benefits of the programs, so this is one more way we look to ensure that we can continue to do just that - we need your feedback.

If you would like to be a CBG advocate and enjoy talking to your peers within the industry, please contact bkw@cbgpurchasing.com for further information.
