Chamber Celebrates Excellence in Fort Mill
The Chamber's Fort Mill Area Council and the Fort Mill School District partnered to host the annual Fort Mill Education & Awards
Over 150 were in attendance at last month's Fort Mill Education & Volunteer Awards program, presented by Comporium, where outstanding teachers, support staff and students from Fort Mill School District were recognized, along with distinguished civic leaders from the Fort Mill Township.

Two Area Councils Combine to Better Serve Area Members
The board of directors of both Fort Mill and Tega Cay area councils have agreed to join forces, as part of the Regional Chamber. In addition to assisting the board and staff and more effectively serving members in those areas, consolidating as the Fort Mill-Tega Cay Area Council will facilitate greater focus, efficiency and management of programs and events.
The consolidation plan was approved by the Regional Board in April, and the first joint meeting of the Area Council Board is scheduled for Thursday, May 26.
