Organic chemicals that have a high vapor pressure at ordinary room temperature. Their high vapor pressure results from a low boiling point, which causes large numbers of molecules to evaporate or sublimate from the liquid or solid form of the compound and enter the surrounding air.

New OSHA Rule to Create "Largest Publicly Available Dataset on Work Injuries and Illnesses"
OSHA issued a final rule requiring employers in high-hazard industries to electronically submit OSHA injury and illness data that employers are already required to keep under existing OSHA regulations (OSHA Forms 300, 300A, 301). The new regulation will take effect August 10, 2016, with phased in data submissions beginning in 2017.

EPA Releases First-Ever Rule to Cut Methane Emissions in the Oil and Natural Gas Sector
On May 12th, the EPA released its first-ever regulation to reduce methane emissions from the oil and natural gas sector.
The new rule applies to new, modified, and reconstructed oil and natural gas operations. The final standard is expected to capture 460,000 metric tons of methane by 2025.
