PROJECT UPDATES ALONG KAMEHAMEHA HIGHWAY

The Honolulu Rail Transit project is making progress along Kamehameha Highway with guideway spans put into place from Acacia Road to the Sears Distribution Center, where the balanced cantilever operations is currently taking place.

Crews are working on the balanced cantilever operations crossing over the H-1 Freeway. As you drive along the H-1 or Kamehameha Highway, please remember to look ahead, not overhead.

It's Historic Preservation Month! To celebrate, HART will showcase a property owned by the rail project called Holau Market. Located in Chinatown on Kekaulike Street and adjacent to the future Chinatown Station, this historic building has a very unique story.

We want to share the story of Holau Market! Join us for an hour of history, including a Hawaiian protocol, architectural tour, hula performance and more.
