You crashed our website!

We'll, maybe not you in particular, but last week so many people tried to check into www.StringRepair.com at the same time it exceeded the bandwidth allotted!  We migrated it to a new server with more resources and its back up, so if you slammed your keyboard in a wild fit of rage because you couldn't see the blog we just teased you with...try again this weekend and enjoy some dirty broken basses being fixed! ;)

Oh, some new content for those that WERE able to see the blog too...got a great question eMailed to us and we decided to grab the camera for a quick impromptu video response...I'd love to see some comments in the YouTube video from folks...and we'll be sure to post some more videos soon of us answering questions you have.

We LOVE what we do and we LOVE doing it for you!

We're always asking you to submit your questions to us for a potential video, and this week I had an interesting question from a viewer in an eMail asking for advice about strings and bass shopping. I sent a pretty good reply, but as I typed I kept thinking this was a perfect video!

Have a comment or thought about what I'm saying?  Be sure to leave your thoughts in the comment section of the YouTube video as I'm sure this is one of those subject where you ask 10 people for their opinion and you'll get 9 different answers!

1800's Mittenwald
www.StringRepair.com

Years ago we started the String Repair website with a goal of allowing owners to track the repair progress of active work, as well as De-mystify the back room happenings of repair shops.  The website was a huge success and the page views were through the roof!  This website was built and coded by Gary and myself LONG before the days of blogging and platforms like WordPress even existed.  We've updated the original site since then to bring it into modern times, and we've got a bug to start blogging again, and we thought this old Mittenwald bass was the perfect candidate.

We'll be updating here every now and then, so be sure to follow it closely on the StringRepair.com website if you're Jonesing for more regular updates!
