A couple of weeks ago now, an article from the marketing website Digiday started showing up everywhere. The article was a "confession" from a social media executive about how he essentially was taken for a ride by a social media "influencer." This got us to thinking about the marketing world, but most especially about how we can prevent companies from suffering a similar fate. Our post on Monday offers some r ed flags to watch for with marketers, along with other tips.

Our Wednesday post talked about how expertise can actually become diluted if it gets repeated over and over again. This post was inspired, believe it or not, by Mark Twain.

Finally, today's post is about condensing our social media tips versus diluting advice from other folks. As it turns out, social media is all about C.H.A.R.M.

Don't forget that we are sharing a lot of marketing information on our Facebook page, and you can also join us in our new LinkedIn group, Social Media Help for Manufacturers!

That's it from here. We hope you have a great weekend!
