There have been a lot of exciting things happening at PAALS from the UN-Gala to the Grand Opening of our new facility! Please take a minute to catch up with all of the exciting news!

Most Successful
UN-Gala Yet!
PAALS largest fund raising event of the year, a Star Wars themed Un-Gala was held at the State Museum on March 5th.  There were plenty of Princess Leias, Chewbaccas and light saber fights and even the PAALS dogs in training joined in the costume fun! For the first time ever, all the dogs in training got to take off their working capes and mingle
raising funds to support our next generation of life changers as our puppies grow into service dogs.

It was a fun night and exceeded all our "fun"raising expectations! Thanks to all who planned, volunteered and attended the event!

PAALS Grand Opening
was held on April 15th & 16th

PAALS dogs are jumping for joy now that we are in our new facility.  All at PAALS would like to thank everyone who came out and supported us at the Grand Opening on April 15th and 16th.  It was a huge success!!!  There was a ton of excitement as supporters came to our newly finished training school.  All were offered guided tours, a chance to meet some of our clients and view video's of clients working with their PAALS dogs. Training demonstrations were shown to guests that involved actual PAALS dogs in training.  A prototype of one of our new puppy dorms was also revealed (see picture below). The Grand Opening was a great way for supporters to get an inside look at what PAALS is doing to help people with disabilities and some of the ways they participate in local community activities.

Room sponsorships are now available.  For more information contact PAALS Development Coordinator, Mitzie Renwick.

THANKS TO YOU,
Midlands Gives Day
surpasses previous records in spite of te chnical issues!
This year was so successful for Midlands Gives that the number of donors trying to donate online actually caused the online giving network to crash!  We still do not have the final totals. However, we do know that YOU have helped us exceed last years total and have raised over $20,000.   We hope to have the final numbers within a couple of weeks.

So from our hearts to yours, please know how much your donation is truly appreciated!  We just could not do it without your support.
Summer PAALS
Registration is still open!
School is almost out and that means our 11th year of Summer PAALS Camp will be here soon!  Slots are filling up fast! This year we are introducing a new camp for younger children ages 8 - 10.  We are also excited to be able to offer yet again, our summer PAALS at the Farm, as well as two other weeks of Summer Camp for ages 11 - 14 (11-19 for children with special needs) at our training facility.   For more information and online registration, please click here.

Volunteers are needed for Summer Camp, experience preferred, but not mandatory.  Click  here to sign up.
