 Organ Classics
on
Trinity Sunday
~
May 22
at Zion's

Rhys Williams will be our guest musician at Zion's Liberty Bell Church this Sunday, playing a variety of classical and hymn selections during gathering music and soloing during the service as well.

A member of the Allentown Young Musician's Club, Rhys was guest cellist and vocal soloist at Zion's in years past. Now an accomplished organist as well, he will play organ solos by Dupre, Lovelace, Bach and others. If you enjoyed hearing him play cello, wait till you hear him on our organ!

This week is known as Trinity Sunday so our service also will feature the traditional hymn, "Holy, Holy, Holy" by Reginald Heber, based on Revelation 4:8-11 and Isaiah 6:3. It is one of the most well-known and widely-sung hymns, set to the tune, Nicaea, which was named for the council that established the doctrine of the trinity.

Gathering music begins at 10:30 a.m. and the liturgical service begins at 10:45. See you on Sunday!

Six Weeks.

Six Chapters.

Join Us!

This Sunday at 9:30 a.m. we'll begin a 6 week study of the book that has been called "the Magna Carta of Christian liberty," the "theological cornerstone of the Christian faith" and "spiritual dynamite" by New Testament experts. The book of Galatians is short - only 6 chapters - but it is packed with ideas that will strengthen your spiritual life.

Everyone is welcome! Please use the Church Street alley entrance. We'll be in the meeting room at the end of the hall. The coffee will be ready and the conversation will be lively.

Mark Your Calendar:
Patriot Sunday May 29

Celebrate Memorial Day weekend with us by remembering the colonial patriots from Allentown who voted in favor of independence. The Pennsylvanian Society of the Sons of the American Revolution as well as re-enactors from the 6TH Pennsylvania Regiment will be on hand to commemorate this event. Plan to be with us!
