CeleBRAMPTON
CeleBRAMPTON kicks off summer in the city! 
Gather your family and friends and attend Brampton's signature event, CeleBRAMPTON, on Saturday, June 11, from 11 am to 4 pm, in downtown Brampton. The fun-filled day will feature free entertainment, food and activities for all ages, including:
  • a Kids Zone in Gage Park with a craft station, two inflatable slides, a video game truck and more
  • the ever-popular BMX Stunt Zone featuring the Craz E Crew Stunt Team
  • live entertainment in Garden Square
  • a Community Zone on Main Street with local community groups, KiteFest and an interactive sticker wall
  • and much more!
For the grand finale, the Flower City Parade, residents are invited to line Main Street at 3 pm to enjoy beautiful floats, marching bands, costume characters, and more.
 
CeleBRAMPTON is about celebrating community spirit, civic pride, Brampton's floral heritage, and everything our city has to offer. Mark your calendar and be sure to attend!

MPAC assessments
The City of Brampton calculates tax bills based on assessment information supplied by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC). On May 18, MPAC mailed out the 2016 re-assessment notices to residential property owners in Brampton. The notices inform owners of their current value assessment for the years 2017-2020. New assessments are based on the valuation date of January 1, 2016. [more...]
