This Week's Top Ten!
1. New Worship Center Sneak Peek

New Worship Center Sneak Peak
THIS SUNDAY after the 9:30am and 11:00am services

On Sunday, we will be opening the construction gates to give you a sneak peek at our New Worship Center. The progress is obvious from the outside, but wait 'til you see what has been going on inside. Everyone is invited to join us after the 9:30am or 11:00am service for an opportunity to walk through the building and view the progress that has been made as we continue to grow together generation to generation.

2. Foster Care Informational Meetings

Foster Care Ministry Informational Meetings
Monday, May 23 at 6:30pm Blackshear Place Baptist Church OR  Wednesday, June 15 at 6:30pm at HMUMC

HMUMC and The United Methodist Children's Home (UMCH) envision a world where every child is raised in a loving, compassionate and nurturing home. 150 foster children a month in Georgia are sleeping in hotel rooms supervised by strangers (a contracted state employee to be specific). The UMCH turns away an average of 30 foster kids a week, all because there are not enough foster homes. Our HMUMC Foster Care Ministry is trying to help.

Learn more or RSVP for one of our informational meetings by visiting www.hmumc.org/fostercare.

3. Memorial Day Sunday / Poppy Day

Memorial Day Sunday / Poppy Day

Our goal is to raise enough money to purchase mattresses, blankets, sheets and pillowcases for this non-profit organization. Learn more at www.hmumc.org/militarysupport.

8. Crosstown Kids

Vacation  Bible School DONATIONS NEEDED!

HMUMC's Vacation Bible School (VBS) has the reputation of being one of the best summer programs in our area. And to top that off, it is FREE, which means we are able to reach far more children with the message of Christ each and every year. There are a lot of expenses that come along with serving over 600 kids! We are behind in our fundraising compared to past years, and we need your help! We couldn't offer this FREE outreach ministry without your support. Please consider making a donation to help our 2016 VBS campers.

Please click here to make a donation. Thank you so much for your help in making VBS at HMUMC one of the best summer outreach programs for kids in our community.

Special Needs Volunteers

The Special Needs Sunday school class supports children with developmental or physical disabilities. You'll find that serving in this classroom will not only be a blessing to our special needs children, but your life will also be blessed by the experience. Email
