Amazing Raise Results Are In

Despite the technology snags, the third installment of The Amazing Raise Ohio Valley was a great success! $337,392 (from 1,851 gifts!) was raised for 114 participating nonprofits.

Thanks to the sponsors, donors and participating organizations for their support and patience during what became a challenging day!

Community Impact Funding Supports Training
YWCA Brings Awareness to Human Trafficking

The YWCA, along with the US Department of Homeland Security, WV State Police and the WV Intelligence Fusion Center, hosted Human Trafficking (In the mind of a Sex Offender) training. The training detailed elements of human trafficking and featured firsthand knowledge from Jennifer Kempton.  

Kempton, a human trafficking survivor, shared her story in detail and gave attendees an unforgettable perspective on this growing issue.

The YWCA received support for the training through the CFOV Community Impact Grant Program.
