Call for 4th of July Parade Entries
Hamilton's 2016 4th of July Parade theme is "Celebrating Hamilton's History With The Arts". This is a special day and we would like to have as many artists and arts organizations participate as possible by joining the parade.  If you have any questions or would like to participate please contact Laurin Sprague at email hamiltoncityfa@yahoo.com or 513-543-1908.

Marcum Park Update
The Marcum family has given the city something really special with this nearly $4mm gift. The park will include a large flexible open space for programming, known as the Great Lawn. A curved path running from the corner of N. 2nd & Dayton Streets down to Buckeye St. & Riverfront Plaza will carry visitors past the primary water feature (near the corner of N. 2nd & Buckeye Streets) and the children's play area running along Buckeye St. on the western half of the block. The children's play area will include a number of passive play features for kids to climb and play on, including a second smaller splash feature known as the Little River.

In broad terms, the construction will go as follows through October of this year:
  • April-May: earthwork & utilities
  • May-July: paving & concrete
  • August-September: landscaping
  • October: finishing touches
4/28/16 UPDATE: Earthwork is approximately 75% complete.  Concrete work should begin during the week of May 9th.
