Maynard Cooper volunteer lawyer wins case against unscrupulous mechanic

Chris Williams (right), a BBVLP board member and active volunteer, won a case for this client (left) whose car was broken into while being repaired. The mechanic stated he would pay for the stolen goods but when he failed, Chris took him to court and won. "Volunteering with the BBVLP is a great opportunity to work on a variety of cases and help folks that need assistance who may not be able to afford a lawyer, " Chris said. "It just makes a lot of sense to do." Volunteer today for one of the cases below or to serve at a Help Desk. You can also email  Nancy Yarbrough, Executive Director, to see where you can be of most good.
