If so, consider this...JARI is a participant in the Neighborhood Assistance Tax Credit Program (NAP) offered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. The program gives businesses with state tax liability the option to make a donation to the JARI Workforce Program and receive 55%-75% tax credits in exchange for the donation.
Under the NAP program, JARI offers customized training programs for unemployed and underemployed local residents. Over the past four years, JARI provided short term training programs for unemployed and underemployed workers that resulted in employment for over 140 individuals.
If you are interested in helping JARI continue to provide educational opportunities for individuals in your community, please contact Debi Balog, JARI Workforce Development Director at 814-262-8366 or via e-mail at [email protected]
