Southern Winds Hospital, a for-profit psychiatric facility in Hialeah, has a pending deal to be sold to an affiliate of
Millennium Management in Miami.

The 72-bed complex at 4225 West 25th Ave. is currently owned by nearby Westchester General Hospital. An application was filed on April 8 with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration to transfer its hospital license to Southern Winds Health LLC, which state documents show is headed by Abraham Shaulson, head of Millennium Management. His company owns nursing homes and long-term treatment facilities across the country, including in Florida.
