April 27, 2016
Dear PYP Parents,
It appears that Mother Nature is not cooperating with our plans! The good news is that the weather forecast is allowing us a window of opportunity - tomorrow! After that there is rain and more rain coming.
PYP Field day will be held tomorrow, Thursday, April 28th and we are so excited - it is going to be a great day!
We have made all the necessary arrangements:
- volunteers are in place (if any new parents are interested in volunteering tomorrow with Field Day stations, please contact the PYP PE coaches)
- hot lunch will be served in the cafeteria for those who want it just like any other day - lunch times for tomorrow only : 12:15-12:45 (K-Grade 2); 12:50-1:20 (Grades 3-5)
- students should plan to wear house shirts, athletic shorts and tennis shoes. It is a good idea to put sunscreen and bug spray on before you arrive at school. Students may also choose to bring a drawstring bag to carry around with them and include items like a towel, extra sunscreen, and a water bottle.
Duck Day will take place Thursday afternoon after lunch.
Rotary Club students will be collecting decorated ducks at drop-off tomorrow morning or students can return their ducks to the PYP office by 8:00 am. Please be sure to put decorated ducks in a ziplock bag with student's name, teacher, and grade. Also, be sure to write student's name on the duck. If you have any questions, please contact Katie Estrada at
[email protected].
