May 2-8 is National Screen Free Week! Consider celebrating this week as a child care program by going "screen-free" for parts or all of this week. Don't think you can go screen-free?  Try reducing screen time, or making sure that all screen time is interactive and intentionally used for educational and age-appropriate activities, or even for physical activity!

This month's PLAY video focuses on the over arm throw. Like the underarmthrow, the over arm throw can be used to teach children about distance (near or far), height (high or low). This is the final step in the throwing progression, after underarm roll and underarm throw.
