OLAJUWAN AND LIBRARY

The NBA legend, Hakim Olajuwon  has dedicated his life in dispelling the myths about Islam and Muslims through education from his downtown Houston Islamic Center. With the Mayor on his side, Olajuwon inaugurated the first Islamic library  for all Houstonians. 
 
AUTISM AND EMPATHY        

Earlier in the month, the nation designated a day for increased awareness about autism  which experts say has increased twenty-to-thirty-fold since the earliest studies 40-50 years ago. This epidemic behooves us to learn more about autism and to also learn to extend greater empathy toward those who may seem a bit different!
